22.03.05 Today's comic is slightly late due to me spending all weekend on a project. It will be lettered and uploaded this evening. I will announce further details about this "project" thing next week -- mostly when I have confirmation that it's actually going through. In other news -- it has now snowed non-stop since last Thursday or Friday. Memo to the big sky badger: use dandruff shampoo. I hurt my neck on Thursday, mysteriously, in the middle of the night while I was asleep. I don't know what exciting thing my neck was doing, but I'm rather put out that it didn't invite the rest of me along. I am doing a redesign of the gothbunnies page to allow the comic to be on the front page, since all sorts of people have mentioned that they prefer it. That should be going up as soon as I figure out how to handle the archives. Nothing more to see here. Move along.
08.03.05 I've been toying with the idea of joining some sort of comics collective, in the hopes of getting some exposure and talking to actual delicious human beings. Hyena Comics has been accepting submissions lately, so I wandered over to see who they were and what kind of submissions they were getting. Which is where I discovered Brain Slug and instantly felt that nameless feeling when you encounter an artist better than yourself -- the "I could do that if I really tried" feeling coupled with a deep sense of inadequacy. Anyway, with submissions like those, I think I'd better hone my bait... I mean, craft a little more before I go seeking tasty people which I certainly won't put in a nice curry for next month's lunches. Anyway, Brain Slug is pretty good, despite the evil rabbit character, which got pretty old with Bun-Bun in Sluggy.
01.03.05 Today, I finally took the big step of putting my money where my mouth is, and publishing all my original online work under the Creative Commons License. Here's to copyrights that eventually enrich the public domain as they were meant to do.
